Anna Molinari whose generosity of spirit always shows on the catwalk once again proved her sensitivity to her audience by putting the colors of spring in tie-dyed spaghetti-strap dresses and ¾ sleeve shifts, and thus reintroducing the style to the much younger Gen Y and Millennials while also satisfying the needs of the youthful Baby Boomers and cougars, to use the current vernacular.
Still, the most imaginative pieces in this collection are the camouflage which were created using stylized floral prints then given patches of pink and yellow for spring and also femininity. Thus, “Cover Girl” of the G.I. Joe fame came to mind.
Anna Molinari’s knowledge of pop culture and ability to incorporate it to her collection is something that most designers will envy and her clientele to be thankful for.
